Can you pass the Nutritional Yeast please?

I know it sounds weird right? Not the standard condiment that adorns many American dinner tables these days I’m sure, so what is it? and why do you want to add it to your diet? Well….. I’m glad you asked! Nutritional Yeast is an amazing powerhouse of non animal sourced B vitamins especially B-12 and 18 amino acids and protein. Great for vegans and vegetarians, just one serving of this flaky substance (about 1 tbsp) gives you your daily requirement of this important vitamin! Rich yellow in color and resembling the consistency of fish food (don’t worry, it tastes nothing like fish food, or at least what I might imagine fish food to taste like) it can be used to season many foods or top foods you might normally top with things like butter, cheese, or salt. This is not your typical yeast, it is in fact free of the Candida Albicans strain, making it safe for those concerned about candida. It is not very expensive and one bottle goes a long way! It is a great addition to your diet and safe for the whole family! Try it to season recipes, add it in stews, sprinkle on your salad, the taste is mild and somewhat resembles that of powdered cheese its a little salty in taste and very low in calories just 20 cal. per tbsp! Try it out to top these foods and enjoy!
