Yes… I said Blueberries and Spinach together!
This smoothie is a powerhouse of antioxidants and vitamins, and minerals such as Vitamin C, manganese, fiber, Vitamin K, Folate, Iron, B Vitamins, Phosphorus, Zinc and protein just to name a few, it’s great nutrition and a great start your day! And don’t be put off by the color, I promise you it taste’s great!
What you will need:
3 or 4 ice cubes
1/2 cup frozen blueberries (organic is best)
1/2 a banana
1 large hand full of organic spinach (or more if you like)
1 tbsp. ground flax seeds (I use Bob’s Red Mill) or you could buy them whole and grind them yourself too!
1 cup (8 oz) of unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk
and a dash of cinnamon
Blend until smooth and Enjoy!
